Ask Me Anything #3 - Is Noel Secretly a Trekkie?

Hello everyone! Welcome to the third article in an exclusive series for the website. As you can probably guess, in each installment I will answer all of your guys' questions, whether it be about my thoughts on Star Wars, things about my personal life, or how I run TheCancrizans. Thanks to everyone who participated in this third edition. Without any further ado, let's answer some questions!

Question 1:

Why not Star Wars? In all seriousness, Star Wars is something I've always had a love for. One of my earliest Star Wars memories is fast forwarding The Phantom Menace to the climactic lightsaber duel and Battle of Naboo, which I would watch over and over again. But what makes the saga so incredible is its depth. You really feel like the Star Wars universe is a living, breathing one. Everyday I learn something new about George Lucas' brainchild, which is extremely satisfying.

Question 2:

My favourite Sith, hands down, is Darth Sidious. As I've mentioned before, I only really like him for one reason, that being his ability to make me laugh unintentionally. Whether he's telling Anakin to "do it!", or falling really slowly onto his desk and chair, he has me cracking up more often than not.

As for Jedi, I'm particularly fond of Obi-Wan. Maybe I'm being biased because he was portrayed by Scottish actor Ewan McGregor, but, hey, Obi-Wan is pretty awesome!

Question 3:

In canon, Anakin has no father as he was "immaculately conceived". In other words, Shmi got around. However, in Legends, it is heavily implied that Plagueis spawned the little munchkin. I really like that idea. It makes the whole Chosen One prophecy rather intriguing...

Question 4:

It would solely depend on my budget. Budget aside, though, I'd realistically shoot for 7-10 million. Why? Well, in canon, around 7 million clones were created overall, and that number seemed to do the trick. So, hoping Sidious is still pulling strings behind the scenes to decimate the Separatist forces, I'd settle for around 8 million.

Question 5:

I've actually had many requests to begin such a series. It seems like every YouTuber and their dog are doing a "what if" series now, which gains them a ton of views! With that being said, it's an intriguing concept and an attractive series. However, I wouldn't really know what to say. I guess if enough people want me to do it I'll give it a bash.

Question 6:

That's a really tough question, as there are so many incredible ships! The obvious answer is the Millennium Falcon. But I'm going to mix it up a bit. I'm going to select a ship that not too many of you would also rank as their favourite because YOLO, I guess. And it's hard to deviate from the classic X-wing or even the A-wing, but I've always been a massive fan of Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator! How can you not think that design is sexy af!?

Question 7:

I've only ever seen small clips here and there. As a result, I don't really have an opinion on it. It would be really harsh for me to judge the series. I may check out the films, given the whole J.J Abrams tie-in. But we'll see. I don't know why I've never attempted to watch the classic series or anything since then. In fairness, I don't really watch many TV shows or movies in the first place.
